Tryout Welcome Letter

I would like to take extend a big welcome to all those trying out for the Minor Peewee 2012 – 2013 Hockey Season!

This will be my 2nd year coaching within the Crusader program however my third year at the Rep level and ninth year within minor hockey. It has been an honour to coach at all the levels throughout minor hockey, I love to be involved and watch the players grow and develop season after season.

My goal this year does not differ from those of the past. Each player will develop throughout the season in an extremely positive atmosphere. The focus this year will be on more technical skills, more tactical play within all 3 zones, and of course discipline and respect will always play a huge factor with players throughout the season.

With this new season upon us it my pleasure to welcome back Trevor Peters as a non-parent assistant coach for the upcoming season. Trevor has years of experience both on and off the ice and his knowledge of the game is always called upon with upmost respect. This will be our 2nd year working together with the Crusaders and we are truly looking forward to a year of strong play and development from the players.

As with all Rep Hockey the commitment level is high and expected from all players and parents. Players can expect 3-4 sessions per week (games, practices and off ice).

ALL of these sessions are mandatory for all team members
